Ireland Road Trip

JJ had a business trip in Ireland last week and Tyler and I were free so we met him in Dublin.  Tyler and I saw all the sights in Dublin while JJ worked and then we all hopped in a car and drove to the west side of Ireland for the rest of the weekend.  We had wonderful weather and enjoyed seeing the beautiful Irish countryside and listening to authentic Irish music.  Traveling was a bit rough with Tyler on that trip but we landed in the US today and he was a complete angel on the flight (much to his parents' surprise).  Now we are getting ready to enjoy our time here in the states and can't wait to see everyone again!

There is a tasting room on the 7th floor that has 360 views of Dublin. Tyler enjoyed the sights and I enjoyed my Guinness!

We stayed in Doolin.  This is the tiny little town.  They have a resident horse on the corner and there were cows everywhere, even in the backyard of our B&B

Gus O'Conner's Pub in Doolin.  Very old and authentic and had great Irish music.  We went there for dinner and then the B&B helped us arrange a babysitter so we could go back at night.

This was on the flight back today.  Everyone loves Tyler.  The captain was retiring and this was his last flight so they had every passenger sign a book and fire trucks splashed water on the plane as we arrived and he got a big round of applause when we landed.  His wife was a flight attendant and she loved Tyler.  She introduced him to the captain.  We gave her a cookie to help him warm up to her.
