Tyler's Best Weekend Ever

Oh boy is Tyler loving life right now.   He's really enjoying the warmer weather and little peeks of sunshine.  Friday it rained most of the day but that didn't stop him from puddle jumping most of the day.  We went through a record number of outfit changes in one day since he was a baby.  The rest of the weekend was spent outside enjoying the sunshine and parks.

We are SO excited to welcome my mom and Aunt Sue here tomorrow!  I never would have thought that my mom would be flying to London but she is and we can't wait!  Big thanks to Auntie Sue for being her trusty travel companion and we look forward to exploring the city and heading to Paris with them for the weekend.

Big boy learned how to climb up the step stool to the side table to the couch.  He was real proud of himself for this one.

Outfit #1 on Friday.  He quickly was covered from head to toe in muddy water but had the time of his life.

Outfit #2, same puddle.  Mom got smart and put the wellies on this time.
Hey look- another cat!

He really likes to get in there
Outfit #3 on Friday.  He likes to eat using all of his senses.  He hasn't gotten the hang of self feeding just yet.

But he sure has fun trying

Rainbow out of our back window

Outfit #4 for Friday.  He really was digging the Gap.  He marched right in from the street and wouldn't leave.  They had this bottom railing that was just his size, a constant stream of people to wave at, and music.  He was in heaven and we were here for almost a half hour!

Park time!  And he didn't even have to wear a full jacket!
Our sweet boy loves to dig!

JJ taught him how to brush the sand off his hands by clapping them together and he thought it was hilarious.

They have animals at this park.  He wanted to climb over the fence and go play with the ostrich

He is freakishly strong.  This stick was actually pretty heavy and he was swinging it around like a baseball bat.

Hey donkey - what's up?

Enjoying the daffs with a mouth full of sandwich

"Picnic" lunch at the park.  Like father, like son - he loves his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  And he has enough self control to eat them like a big boy now instead of us cutting it up.

Trying out the new trike outside our flat.  He didn't get the hang of it yet but liked being pushed by Dad!

  1. I love that you let him, just be himself....its just clothes, its just food on the table...but boy oh boy he gets to explore and do all that he loves. He is developing quite a personality.

You know I miss you so.
    xoxo
