Wales

We went to Wales last weekend for a quick overnight stay.  We now only have to hit Northern Ireland and we will get to all the "countries" in this UK country!  It was a beautiful trip and we hope to get to Northern Wales too someday.  The story from the last week is in pictures below!
Big T loves fall!
Big T also loves climbing trees in the Heath
We went to Golder's Green park by us - they have a little zoo and the deer were really close that day!
Big T is an adventure seeker at Rhossili Bay in Wales!

Daddy and Big T enjoying the view out to Worm's Head.  When the tide is low you can walk all the way out to the tip of the cliff

Probably not a good idea.  He was in tears when we wouldn't let him fall off the cliff.

The Kerns at Rhossili Bay!

The sheep just roamed free all over.  Tyler liked to chase them.  The sheep did not like that.

Beautiful!

Cheesing it up by the fence

Baaaaaaa!

Another hike down to the beach.  They really make you work for the beaches here in the UK!

I foolishly thought that he would only go in to his knees....
This is right before he tipped over and went all the way in.  It was definitely not beach weather and I had no change of clothes for him.  It didn't stop his enthusiasm for getting back in the water but eventually he said. "Cold! Cold!" and we headed back up!
We went to a pub for dinner at the recommendation of the B&B owner.  Tyler loved it.  He got to sit on a regular chair, got to play with coasters and miraculously ate a whole plate of broccoli content as a clam.  We had a great time there!
Tyler enjoyed petting the B&B dog, Mazey the next morning.  We stayed in a great little B&B in an old 17th century farmhouse about 30 miles outside of Cardiff.  The owner was super nice and knowledgeable and gave us a great route of sightseeing on our way back to London that morning.

Our second castle stop: Raglan Castle

Guys - I got our route all figured out - follow me!

More Raglan Castle

He found a place to continue reading up on the castle.  Interestingly enough, he was in the old library.

Peekaboo!

The dungeon is a great place to play hide and go seek!

Pondering deep thoughts while looking over the pretty Wales countryside.

We ate at a great restaurant overlooking Tintern Abbey (see below pictures).  It had a playground so Big T was happy.  They did forget to deliver my sandwich and the wait made us late getting back to London and JJ missed his first soccer game though!  Uh oh!

Tintern Abbey cows!

Playing in the stone box at the playground (it reminded me of a litter box!)

When we got back it was time to leave to go to Wembley for a little American NFL Football!  The Vikings played the Steelers.  It was fun!  We weren't really rooting for either team but Pittsburgh made a little rally at the end to make the game exciting.  In the end the Vikings won.
The Minnesota Vikings mascot dressed up as a palace guard.  There was actually a great crowd at the game.
